|Select the kind of branches that you’d like to use for your centerpiece. For a softer look with a delicate scent, like for a wedding table, you can use sage. If the centerpiece will include gourds and a cornucopia for fall, choose branches with gold, and red fall leaves.
Practice arranging the branches to create the look that you’d like for your centerpiece. In many cases, this will depend on the shape of the table. For a small, round table you can create a circular centerpiece. For a long, rectangular table you may want one or more rectangular or longer centerpieces.
Place the other materials that will make the centerpiece amongst the branches before making them final. Doing this will help you determine if you like the shape of the centerpiece you’ve designed.
